In addition, the selected candidates will receive Dearness Allowance (DA)
and other allowances, according to the rules of the Corporation in force, as
amended from time to time.

Should not be covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and
OBCs and whose family has gross annual income below Rs 8.00 lakhs (Rupees Eight
lakhs only). Income shall also include income from all sources i.e. salary,
agriculture, business, profession, etc. for the financial year prior to the
year of application.
Also persons whose family owns or possesses any of the following assets
shall be excluded from being identified as EWS, irrespective of the family
income:-
Ø 5 acres of agricultural land
and above ;
Ø Residential flat of 1000 sq
ft. and above;
Ø Residential plot of 100 sq.
yards and above in notified municipalities;
Ø Residential plot of 200 sq.
yards and above in areas other than the notified municipalities.
2.
The property held by a “Family” in different locations or different
places/cities would be clubbed while applying the land or property holding test
to determine EWS status.
3.
The term “Family” for this purpose will include the person who seeks
benefit of reservation, his/her parents and siblings below the age of 18 years
as also his/her spouse and children below the age of 18 years.
4.
The benefit of reservation under EWS can be availed upon production of
an Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority. The Income and
Asset Certificate issued by any one of the following authorities in the
prescribed format as given in Annexure-I
shall only be accepted as proof of candidate’s claim as belonging to EWS:

borne by the candidates.

In Part I Registration, all the candidates will have to fill-in their
personal information including address for communication, in the prescribed
format provided in the ONLINE application system. Candidates must check the
details carefully and make corrections, if any, before final submission. Candidate found to have submitted false or
incorrect information, will be liable to be rejected at any stage of the
selection process.

General, OBC, EWS &
Ex-servicemen Candidates are advised to complete the preliminary registration at least two/three
(2/3) working days prior to the closing date of ONLINE application system so
that they have sufficient time for completing the formalities related to
payment of application fee and Part II Registration process.
·
Candidates must give their Email
Id and Mobile No. on which all the communication(s) will take place. Please
check the Email Id and Mobile No. after entering it again for its correctness.
In case of international mobile number, code should be prefixed with 00
followed by country code with no special characters in between.
·
Candidates are advised to fill their name, date of birth, category
(Gen/OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD), mobile number, Email ID in the ONLINE
application form of IOCL very carefully, as they will not be allowed to change

Candidates have to give their qualification details (Graduation, Post
Graduation & PhD), details of papers/ articles published/ accepted for
publication in a refereed journal, chapters/ articles published in a book,
patents filed/granted etc.

Candidates are also advised to mention their work experience by
entering the dates duly in “Experience From” and “Experience Till” column
ending with the most recent organization.
Space has been provided to accommodate experience for multiple organizations in
the on-line application format.
·
Internships viz. industrial training/ summer internship
etc., undertaken as part of academic requirement will not be considered as
valid experience. Only Post qualification experience i.e after date of
successful defense of PhD will be considered.
·
Candidates have to upload their signature and recent passport size
photograph as per specifications given in the online application portal.
·
Only the Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS & Ex-servicemen categories
are required to deposit
Rs 300/- per post as application fee.
·
SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
·
Candidates, if eligible, can apply maximum for
two posts only with the same registration number. Any candidate submitting
online applications under fictitious/ pseudo names/email ids/cell phone/
landline numbers leading to multiple applications will be rejected.
·
Candidates should take a print out of completed
application and keep the same for future reference. Please note that they are not required to send this printout
to any office of IndianOil.
Note: Candidate may apply for maximum
two posts with the same registration number. It is up to the candidates to see
which two posts they are eligible and want their candidature to be considered for and

General, OBC, EWS & Ex-servicemen candidates will
be required to deposit a non-refundable amount of Rs 300/- per post as application fee after selecting “RECRUITMENT RnD OFFICERS” under “Select
Payment Category” from the drop down.

The application fee is to be remitted ONLINE through
SBI e-Collect using either SBI Debit Card or through Net-Banking or by selecting “Pay at Branch option”. Candidates
opting for “Pay at Branch option”
should download the challan and submit the application fee at the branch.
·
Candidates will be required to enter bank reference
number, payment date and upload payment receipt (proof of payment) for payment
verification and also advised to keep a printout of payment receipt safely for
future reference.

No other mode of payment would be accepted.
Note: Candidates are
advised to ensure that they enter correct Registration Number while making

General Instructions:
1)
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
Candidates who are Indian Nationals but presently residing outside India must
submit valid proof of their being an Indian Citizen – such as copy of valid
Indian Passport.
2)
Experience will be counted from the date of successful
defense of their Ph.D dissertation / thesis. It is mandatory for candidates
possessing Ph.D qualification to mention the date of successful defense of Ph.D
in their application. In respect of the post in the research area of Industrial
Biotechnology in Grade ‘E’, experience will
be counted from the date of successful completion of their Induction
level qualification i.e. PhD degree.
3)
The age, qualification marks & experience (in case
of Grade E, Industrial Biotechnology post) for the above post(s) shall be
reckoned as on 31.03.2019.
4)
The percentage of marks should be calculated as per
norms adopted by the respective University / Institute / Board.
5)
Persons with Benchmarked Disability (PwBD) can apply
against any post, subject to a maximum of two and meeting other eligibility
criteria as per the advertisement.
6)
Wherever CGPA/OGPA/DGPA or letter grade in a degree is
awarded, its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the

7)
Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis and are
awaiting defense of PhD thesis as on 31.03.2019
will not be considered eligible.
8) Date of completion of PhD
will be reckoned as Date of successful defense of PhD.
9)
Candidates presently employed in Govt. Deptt / PSUs /
Autonomous Bodies will be required to submit NOC from their current employer at
the time of interview and a clear release order from the employer at the time
of joining in the event of their selection.
10) Candidates
must have an active Email id and mobile number, which must remain active till
the completion of the recruitment process. All communications with the
candidates will take place primarily through Email only and hence, they are
advised to ensure that they fill-in the accurate/correct email id and mobile
number while registering their ONLINE application. IndianOil will not be responsible
for any loss/non-delivery of email/any other communication sent to the

11) Candidates
will be informed about upload of call letter for Personal Interview through
e-mail. However, candidates are advised to log on to www.iocl.com at regular
intervals and check for updated status of the recruitment process.
12) Shortlisted
candidates will be required to download & take a print out of call letter
for Interview sent to their eMail ID and carry the same with them along with
the original valid photo ID proof for verification at the time of Interview.
13) Candidates
are advised to provide the desired details truthfully while filling-up their

otherwise not found to be meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria shall be
rejected at any stage of selection process.
14) The decision
of the management in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or

belonging to OBC Category but falling in creamy layer are not entitled to
benefits of OBC reservation. Such candidates may apply under “Unreserved”
category provided they meet the age criteria applicable to unreserved
candidates and indicate their category as “General”. IndianOil being a Govt. of
India, Public Sector Undertaking, only those communities that are mentioned in
the common / Central list of OBC prepared by Central Govt. shall be treated as

17) IndianOil
reserves the right to cancel any/all vacancies at any stage of the selection
process without assigning any reason thereof. The number of vacancies can
increase or decrease, keeping in views the manpower & staffing requirements.
18) In case any
certificate/testimonial has been issued in a language other than English/Hindi,
the candidate must keep a translation copy of the same either in English or
Hindi for verification during Personal Interview.
19) Outstation
